…he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. -
Phil. 1:6

What does it mean that Jesus will bring the good work in us to completion?

And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight - Phil. 1:9

Why is it important to couple love with knowledge and discernment and not separate them?

For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. - Phil 1:22

What advantages or gains is Paul referring to when he says, “to live in Christ” and “to die is to gain”?

...without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. - Phil 1:28

What might we be frightened right now in our life and how do we stand firm with courage?

And because of my chains, most of the brothers and sisters have become confident in the Lord and dare all the more to proclaim the gospel without fear.  Phil 1:14
